I don't know why I never shared this stuff with you guys before, but better late than never I suppose. This year I, a lowly college aged car enthusiast from Wisconsin, USA, had the opportunity to go to the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans.
I was teary-eyed with excitement the entire time, and I still can't believe I have now crossed that off my bucket list. I got to see world class race cars up close and came extremely close to MEETING CHRIS HARRIS. I saw his E28 M5 and his GT3 Cup car up close anyway.
But seriously guys, if you ever get the chance to go to a 24 Hours of Le Mans, take it. It's amazing. Well anyway, here are a few pictures I hastily took when I was there. Enjoy!

Awesome!!!
If the EUR x BRL exchange rate be favorable next year, I'll go to Le Mans with my fiancée for a week! For what I've seem on Google Streetview, Le Mans is quite a beautiful town.
But I'm constrained with the exchange rate. After brazilian elections, the euro jumped from R$2.90 to R$3,23 in two and a half weeks :(
How many time did you passed on Le Mans? Can you recommend good places to eat and to stay? Since you'd been there, how hard is to find vegetarian-friendly restaurants?
